Welcome members! This is YOUR Gallery. Below is a "Sign Up" button for staffing our gallery. Members please sign up for a day and time each month. We need our members to help by participating for the gallery and shop. Remember that volunteering 3+ hours per month is required to exhibit work in the gallery and shop.
Gallery hours are Saturday and Sunday Noon until 6:00 PM
Introducing New Perks for VOLUNTEERS
We love our Salem Arts Galleries and Shop and hope you do too. The best way to show your love is to volunteer and help us keep the doors open. In return we're looking for ways to return the love.
Salem Arts Gallery and Shop will be reserving exhibition space for our most dedicated volunteers. You know who you are and we do too. If you're guessing then it's time to step up your volunteer game and sign up to volunteer. The chair persons for Retail Operations and Exhibitions (Carli and Heather) will select volunteers who have gone above and beyond to provide featured member exhibition walls. You might ask how we can accomplish this? The great news is that we're expanding our exhibition space to include more walls in the rooms surrounding our galleries, the Hill room, and the foyer space at The Bridge at 211. If you want to be selected for future exhibitions we'll be keeping track of your volunteer hours to select the lucky featured artists.
Please choose a shift that you know you can commit to for the entire 3 hour slot.
3+ Hours per month is required for artist members to display work in the gallery.
If you're new to volunteering we recommend signing up in the Mid-Day slot to have another volunteer to help you get familiar with being in the gallery as a volunteer.
