1:00 - 1:30 • Gatto Belly Dance Troupe 

“Gatto”, is an American Tribal Style^® or ATS belly dance troupe based out of Salem, MA.  ATS is an improvisational form where dancers take turns leading and following, using cues and a common vocabulary of moves to create a dance that looks choreographed but is not. Everything is created in the moment and no two performances are alike.   

Gatto consists of all experience levels with some dancers performing for the first time today.

2:30 - 3:00 • Salem Shimmy Mob 

Salem Shimmy Mob is a belly dance flash mob with the primary objective of raising awareness and creating fundraising opportunities for victims and survivors of domestic violence.  They also provide opportunities for dancers, promote belly dancing and support local businesses and communities in their efforts to raise awareness about domestic violence.
